The only issue that arose was when providing feedback, it appeared that some of the students had done more work than others in the group — social loafing strategies seemed to be used sub-consciously by students by using less effort to achieve a greater goal through others.

This was noticed when students were asked directed questions related to the task, it appeared that the same students were answering all of the time. Ifthe group are producing work using a similar learning technique, questioning will be altered to ensure that all students are achieving the goals without the aid of others just providing the work for them. Students often feel ppreciated when they are thanked for the most minor of tasks, this praise needs to be used straight away but not in a way that they may feel like it is not meant. Method The topic that was delivered to students was Marketing Principles, students were put into groups based upon their ability and the teaching strategy that was employed was a mixture of Collaborative Learning and Independent Enquiry.

Students are always encouraged to identify any needs within their learning and understanding during the lesson, this allows a greater understanding and also challenges the effectiveness of the teaching trategies being used.
The majority of the groups were ble to get on with the task on their own which left plenty of time for the teacher to circulate the learning environment questioning the students based on their learning — also to ensure that they are on task.
Varying teaching strategies will be consistently employed within the learning environment but will be constantly be evaluated on their effectiveness as strategies as some students may benefit more from certain strategies rather than others.
Students seemed to struggle actually justifying how the factors influence marketing decisions of a tour operator.
